This site is dedicated to the memory of Tony Welch.
Tony Welch, died of mesothelioma on the 26 August 1995 age 58 years. His friends and family have set up this Snowdrop Memorial Fund in his memory.
He worked as a plumber and pipe fitter welder all is working life and so was exposed to high levels of asbestos, especially in the early years. At the time of his diagnosis, little was known about the disease.
Donations made through the Tony Welch Snowdrop Fund will benefit the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund (MKMRF).
